"I believe the average person doesn't have clue on how to really confess sin. When God convicts you of sin, He gets very specific.

"The Holy Spirit of God who convicts us of sin will never say something like, "You've been a bad boy" or "Your just not doing right". He will tell you specifically what you have done and He will lead you to confess specifically what He has told you you have done. Our problem is, we want to sin retail, but we want to confess wholesale.

"It gets even worse. Many people think if you simply say that you are sorry for what you have done, you've confessed. Now that is the beginning of confession, but it is not the end of confession..."
